Job Description: Effectively and efficiently plan and schedule vehicle maintenance activities on military and commercial design general and special purpose, base maintenance, aircraft and equipment towing vehicles, material handling equipment, fire and refueling trucks, and vehicular equipment. Plan and control work methods, production schedules, operating procedures, and performance standards. Monitor established maintenance priorities; tire and battery shop operations, and adhere to established goals and requirements. Ensure vehicles, equipment, tools, parts, and manpower are available to support contingencies and day-to-day operations.

Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
Experience: Must have a minimum of five years experience supervising large vehicle maintenance functions. Hands-on expertise with diesel and gasoline engines; fuel, exhaust, and electrical systems; clutches; torque converters; transmissions; transfer cases; power takeoffs; drive lines; axles; frames; steering, suspension, dispensing, brake, air, and hydraulic systems; tracks; winches; emission control, heating, and air-conditioning systems, active/passive restraint systems and mounted or special equipment. Operate computers and diagnostic equipment; prepare data for presentation in tabular, chart, graphic and summary form, and provide written and narrative summaries to meet management needs.
Education: High School diploma. Must have a current/valid U.S. driver’s license. Past military experience in USAF Vehicle Maintenance is preferred.
Security Clearance: Shall have or be capable of obtaining a U.S. secret security clearance.
