Job Description: Performs in combating, extinguishing, and preventing fires and protection of life and property through fire fighting activities. Duties also include other support services under close supervision of shift supervisors. Performs general inspection/maintenance of fire department facilities and equipment.
Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License
• Shall be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience in ARFF fire fighting.
• Must be able to pass annual SCBA fit test.
• Must pass an annual medical examination by a licensed physician and maintain physical requirements
• Shall be physically capable of performing all duties required of the position.
• Shall have DoD Certification for Fire Fighter II, Airport Fire Fighter and HAZMAT Operations.
• Shall have or be capable of obtaining a “US Secret” security clearance.
