Job Description: Ensures operation, maintenance, inspection, overhaul, installation and logistics support services are economically and efficiently provided for all real property facilities, RPIE, and EAID equipment that are the maintenance responsibilities of Base Civil Engineering.
Formulate and execute an annual maintenance budget that ensures Operations Workforce meet its maintenance and safety objectives.
Directs the activities of the Deputy Chief of Operations and other assigned managers and supervisors in their efforts to oversee and manager Operations work force activities which includes maintenance and operation of the airfield, roads, grounds, HVAC systems, electrical and water distribution systems, water and wastewater plants, facilities and military family housing. Provide entomology and custodial services. Control and direct material acquisition, vehicles, production control, planning, Self Help Store, 24/7 Service Call with an emergency response role. Ensures these functions prevent deterioration or degradation of the mission.
Ensures maintenance and operations activities is accomplished IAW AFIs, OSHA, NEC and NFPA codes, host nation and USAF environmental regulations and laws, other USAF pertinent directives and the base maintenance contract. Also, ensures that all required reports and contract data requirements are properly developed and submitted. Provides guidance and support for contingency planning, disaster recovery and readiness training programs. Support management in executing the conservation, and corrosion programs.
Qualifications: Shall become familiar with applicable host nation and USAF environmental regulations. Also, shall have knowledge of OSHA regulations, USAF safety directives, and NFPA standards.

Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
Experience: Minimum of 15 years experience in planning, organizing, and directing major real property operation, maintenance and repair of structures, utilities, plants, systems pavements and grounds. Five years of those years shall include personnel supervision. At least five of the 15 years experience must be in management of these areas.
Education: Shall be a high school graduate.
Security Clearance: Shall have or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Secret security clearance.
